Types of manuscripts
1. Original article. - are primary articles, results of unpublished research, based on empirical data obtained through rigorous scientific methodologies. The length of the manuscript should not exceed 5000 words. This maximum of words does not include references or tables.
2. Review article. - are scientific manuscripts that synthesize and discuss the state of the art on a specific topic based on an exhaustive and critical review of the existing literature; it organizes and evaluates the available information to identify advances, trends, knowledge gaps and possible future directions in a field of study. This article should be no longer than 7000 words.
3. Short communications. - present preliminary findings, novel discoveries or significant advances, communicating relevant information of immediate interest to the scientific community. Its length shall not exceed 3000 words, taking into account that this maximum does not include references or tables.
4. Editorial articles - Address topics of academic, scientific or social interest from an analytical, critical or reflective perspective. They are written by a member of the editorial team, invited experts or academics with broad experience in the discipline. Their length should not exceed 2000 words.
5. Letters to the Editor - These are articles in which topics or concepts of interest to the scientific community are discussed and presented. Included here are opinion essays and monographs. All articles should be no longer than 2500 words.
