The special issue "Challenges and Opportunities for Agroecological Innovation in the Amazon" is intended as an academic space for analyzing and disseminating scientific and practical solutions to the main challenges facing agricultural production in Amazonian ecosystems. In a scenario of high climate variability, fragile soils, pressure on biodiversity, and limited access to technologies, agroecology offers management approaches that integrate productivity, conservation, and resilience. This call for papers brings together contributions aimed at students, teachers, and researchers who seek to understand and apply tools such as bio-inputs, sustainable soil management, crop establishment strategies, and intervention models adapted to the territory. The editorial objective is to strengthen the dialogue between experimental evidence, agronomic innovation, and local relevance, promoting transferable learning and lines of research that drive more efficient and sustainable productive transitions in the Amazon.
